Kiandra has been the recipient of many awards and scholarships including: the Mozart Operatic Institute award, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama award, the Dr. Handa prize and the Symphony Australia Young Vocalist award - all in the 2010 Australian Singing Competition. In addition, she was awarded a study prize in the Acclaim Italian Fellowship Awards in Melbourne, Australia to undertake intensive study and coaching sessions for one month with renowned Italian soprano Valeria Esposito and Maestro Carlo Morganti at the Teatro Communale Pergolesi in Jesi, Italy.
Kiandra was part of the 2011 Young Artist Program with Opera Queensland where she understudied the role of Despina in Così fan tutte. In that same year, she performed in a number of concerts with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House.
Joining the Young Artist Programme at Opera Australia in 2012, she performed the roles of Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and made her international debut for Opera Australia singing Norina in Don Pasquale in Tokyo, Japan.
In September 2012 Kiandra moved to Salzburg, Austria to begin a one-year intensive study program at the Mozarteum. In November of the same year, she was awarded first prize in the VI Concorso Lirico Internazionale “Magda Olivero” in Milan, Italy.
In 2013, Kiandra sings The Countess in Le nozze di Figaro for the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas for Teatro dell’Opera di Roma at the Caracalla Baths. In July, Kiandra joins the Salzburger Festspiele Young Singers Project for 2013, where she will perform the role of Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail für Kinder.
In September 2013, Kiandra will join the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; in the 2013/14 Royal Opera House season, she sings Flower Maiden in Parsifal, Echo in Ariadne Auf Naxos and covers the roles of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro and Soeur Constance in Dialogues des Carmélites.
